So we’ve taken the traditional skills and the fundamentals of classic puppet
building and revamped them for the new era: the era of high definition.

SCULPTURE
Our puppets grow from humble origins. They begin as blocks
of foam rubber, which we sculpt by hand: an upgrade to the
time-honored technique puppet-builders were using
decades ago.
Any level of detail is possible. Our puppets are made with the
puppeteer in mind - to fit the hand perfectly and maximize
any performance.

FABRICS
Believe it or not, the fabrics that defined the classic puppets of the 70's
are still being used today, but on our modern HD screens, they appear
fuzzy and unkempt.
Here at the Furry Puppet Studio, we pride ourselves in using a very
particular fleece material with a super fine texture.
Our puppet builders sew constantly to create a seamless finish that looks
flawless, even on the most advanced HD camera.
We are pleased to inform you that our puppets do not wear fur, but
naturally sheared fibers that are rooted into a synthetic base.
This allows us to achieve high quality results, while staying true to our animal friends.

MECHANISMS
Don't let their innocent faces fool you. On the inside, these puppets are
as complex as the USS Enterprise. Our mechanisms are designed
and assembled by some of the industry's pioneers.
There's not a movement or expression our puppets cannot achieve.

CHARACTER DESIGN
This is our favorite part of the process.
Our artists are happy to work with you to design the most unique
characters and visual concepts for your project.
From simple sock puppets, to crazy animatronic contraptions,
we strive to master all styles, constantly taking into consideration
the newest and latest out there.
Of course, if you have a design of your own you'd like to bring on
board, please do – we assure you that the final product will be
true to your original vision.
